In a forest, there lived an Wolf and at a neaby lake lived a Crane. In course of time both of them became friends together. One day both the friends invited each other at their places at a lunch party.
The wolf was very cunning. He started planning to befool the Crane. On the invitation day, the crane came to the house of the wolf. The wolf welcomed him very cordially and placed before him a plate full of soup. But, it was difficult for the crane to drink soup from a flat plate as he cant do that with his ling bill. On the other hand, the cunning wolf drank the soup easily with his tongue.
The Crane now realized the his friend had befooled him. He returned without having lunch. Now the hungry Crane invited the wolf as a return. The wolf happily reached to the crane's house. He was very hungry. Now, The Crane placed two thin-necked pitchers full of sweet smelling soup. He asked the wolf to have the soup as much as possible. But, it was very difficult for the wolf entering his mouth in to the thin-necked Pitcher. Inspite of repeated request by the crane, the wolf could not drink the soup and retrned with hungry stomach. He came to understand that it was his turn to be befooled. It was Tit for tat.
